We simply love it!

Valentine’s Day in Copenhagen

Do you not yet have any plans for 14th February? We have an idea you might like. Why not whisk your loved one away for a long weekend in Copenhagen? In order to ensure that your trip is an ultimate success whatever the weather, here are our most stunning must-haves for an unforgettable time in the capital city of Denmark.

There’s no woman in the world who doesn’t want to look particularly gorgeous on Valentine’s Day. We have therefore put together a few outfit ideas that will definitely wow your partner.

Our fashion favorites for Valentine’s Day:

Outfit 1:
A great outfit is an absolute must the moment you embark on your journey to Copenhagen. Forget about your favourite comfy travel look for the day and instead opt for a combination that is sure to turn heads. Be it the best-fitting jeans ever or the fifties-style dress that your partner absolutely loves, it’s all about ensuring that you simply look absolutely stunning.

Outfit 2:
When heading out on a sightseeing tour through Copenhagen, it’s definitely a good idea to take some weatherproof clothing. A real classic that is also popular among the Danish is the quilted jacket, but you can also choose from other options such as a typical yellow raincoat in fashionable new designs. With its bright yellow colour and hood, this coat will help you to defy even the worst of rainy weather and look really stylish at the same time. Simply combine it with your favourite jeans and a cuddly cashmere jumper to achieve a perfect look!

Outfit 3:
When going out for dinner, you can pull out all the stops and show everyone that you are the hottest Valentine’s date in the whole of Copenhagen. And if you ask us, you don’t always have to opt for the good old “LBD”. Why not try something completely new? Our favourite for 2019: a slim-fitting red dress or an elegant trouser suit in bright red. Add a pair of high heels and some discreet jewellery and get ready to be the ultimate eye-catcher.

If you’re still looking for your new favourite garment in Valentine’s red, here are some of our favourites for inspiration.

Beauty tip:

When it comes to your Valentine’s Day make-up, it’s all about achieving the perfect glow. It’s therefore a good idea to treat your skin to an enzyme exfoliation one or two days in advance. This will remove all excess dead skin cells and gently clean your skin. Shortly before your date, you can then use a highlighter and an extra helping of blusher to give your skin your desired Valentine’s look.

Restaurant tip:

For an evening out, the popular Meatpacking District in Vesterbro is a top tip. This area of the city is absolutely full of excellent restaurants and cafés and whatever you fancy, you’re sure to find plenty of ideal delicacies and delicious treats here.

Hotel tip:

The pretty “Betrams Hotel Guldsmeden” is located directly in the Vesterbro district and is just 15 minutes away from Copenhagen Central Station and the Tivoli amusement park. It also features a lovingly designed interior and is a popular choice among couples in particular.

Sightseeing tip:

Kissing the famous Little Mermaid statue is something that simply has to be done when visiting Copenhagen. The bronze figure on the waterside promenade really is a beautiful attraction.

Extra tip:

The world-famous Tivoli amusement park is an absolute must. It is the most-visited park of its kind in the world and is the ultimate date location for couples in the evening. To top it off, the park can even be booked as a wedding venue on certain days.

We wish you a magical and romantic Valentine’s day and plenty of fun with your new outfits!
